Hospital chooses a web-based access control solution that leaves room for expansion
Saint Paul, MN June 22, 2010: IDN-Acme, Inc. a provider of security products, access control solutions, and related services, has partnered with AMT, Inc. to offer their own brand of electronic access control called, bits. This innovative product is securing a medical center undergoing major expansion, meeting their need to control many facilities with one centrally hosted system and scale with future growth.
“This unique solution will provide for the hospitals immediate needs, plus, is one that will keep pace with the facilities explosive growth, explains Barry Johnson, President of IDN-Acme.
When the hospital outgrew its current access control system, IDN-Acme was able to provide them the scalability they needed with the new bits solution and also meet their advanced reporting needs. bits is securing a 300 door system with planned expansion of the system to add another 300 access control doors across several facilities.
“Working with facilities looking to expand and grow from a single location to multiple location bits is the right solution. bits is a user friendly Web based software that allows facility managers to keep track of all their employees regardless where they are with Internet access.” says Wayne Hilliard, National Accounts Manager.
