Welcome to the Intelligence Era
of Access Control.
CONNECTING & PROTECTING
T H E A L T E R N A T I V E
Most security systems are a catalog. This one is an architecture.
Drawbridge Cloud is the management layer: one place where doors, credentials, schedules and events live, reachable from any device. Underneath it is standard non-proprietary hardware you choose. Around it are integrations that add video intelligence and card issuance without replacing anything. This page is how the pieces fit.

What a closed stack costs you
The traditional model is a single vendor's ecosystem: their panels, their readers, their credentials, their software, their upgrade cycle. It is simple to buy and expensive to live in. The day you want a capability they do not offer, the answer is to wait for their roadmap or replace the system.
An open architecture costs a little more thought up front and gives you somewhere to go later. That is the whole trade, and it is the reason Drawbridge is built the way it is.
C O N N E C T I N G & P R O T E C T I N G
One ecosystem. Working together.

L A Y E R 1 — M A N A G E
Drawbridge Cloud
The system of record. Every door, credential, schedule, permission and event, in one hosted application reachable from a browser or a phone. Hosted on AWS, maintained and monitored by AMT, with nothing on site to patch or replace.
Credentials by person and role — card, fob or phone
Schedules, lockdown, notifications and a complete audit trail
Easy enough that the front office runs it day to day
LAYER 2 — EXTEND
Integrations
Capability added alongside the platform rather than bolted into it. Each integration owns what it is good at and reports into the same system of record.
INTERGRATION
WHAT IT ADDS
HID Fargo Connect
Intelligent video — on-device AI, natural language search, real-time alerting, footage that stays on site
Qualcomm Insight Platform
Card issuance inside Drawbridge, so records management and printing are not two separate systems
Compliance enforcement, time and attendance
Regulatory rules applied at the door; attendance data from the same events
LAYER 3 — CONTROL
The building
The hardware on your doors, and the part most platforms quietly own. Drawbridge is non-proprietary: standard controllers, locks, readers and credentials, your choice of integrator, and existing equipment supported rather than replaced.
CATEGORY
WHAT AMT SUPPORTS
Controllers
HID Aero (X1100, X100, X200, X300), HID Edge and VertX
Locks
ASSA ABLOY IP-enabled locksets
Readers and credentials
HID Signo, iCLASS SE, Lumidigm, pivCLASS, OMNIKEY, proximity; Seos, Crescendo and other credential families
Biometrics
HID Amico facial readers, ASSA ABLOY iDFace
Interface hardware
Cypress splitters, converters and enrollment tools, for existing readers and mixed formats
WHY IT MATTERS
What an open architecture buys you
On-premise access control asks a building to run a piece of IT infrastructure that has nothing to do with the building. Somebody specifies the server, patches it, backs it up, restores it when it fails, and replaces it when the vendor drops support. Usually that somebody has four other jobs.
You are never buying the whole thing again
Add video without touching the doors. Change credential technology without changing platforms. Each layer moves on its own schedule.
No single vendor decides your roadmap
Your integrator is your choice. Your hardware is your choice. If AMT stopped being the right answer tomorrow, the building would still work.
The hardware you own stays yours
Standard readers, locks and controllers —including the ones already installed. Cypress interface hardware closes the gaps where formats or voltages do not line up.
WHAT COMES NEXT
Built to add to
An architecture is a promise about the future more than the present. Drawbridge is built so new capability arrives as an integration rather than a migration — which is how intelligent video arrived, and how what comes next will arrive too.
